This "twisted Fairy Tale mostly lives upto its' promicr beeing delightful snd quirky as eas the first in the series. I look forward to the next. This one, however enjoyable, like many a sequel, simply is not nearly as good as the first,Srwuels rarely are. I was disappointed to find a scene I basically had to skip over, as I do not read"love scenes." But it was mercifully short, snd only the one,This book,unlike the first, was far morr predictable from the outset. I could tell the end from almost the beginning. I feel thst the enfing wss s bit forced, ws if completed by a deadline. I hoped fot ss slightly different enfing which I would have found a surprise. But it would have required a longer nook to wrap everything up, the characters were sgsin delightful to knke, and I shall immediately order the nect in the s3ries. I also found that the Sleeping Beauty reference was a bit gorced,but zI still found this to be an enjoyable and delightful read...but I've got to stop reading so late into the night.
